Santa and Trip to Conroe

Brenden went to go and see Santa today! I had to get there 30 minutes before they opened and there was still a line!! However, I think that this is the best Santa! Brenden did a great job giving us a huge smile!

We also had Christmas with my family in Conroe this last weekend. We had fun seeing everyone and Brenden had a good time opening his presents. We had to watch him carfully, because he just wanted to put the paper in his mouth.

I made this years Christmas card. I think that it turned out ok, and I learned alot about the digital prgram.

A Little Christmas Fun

Brenden was wearing his "My first Christmas" PJ's and I could not pass up the opportunity to take a few pictures....he is so cute :)

He is almost sitting up on his own now. He can sit up for a second and then he will fall :)

He is also eating more and more food. We have tried, and liked, bananas and apple sauce.

I am still working on taking a family Christmas picture for a card.

Sickness and Hives!!! So sad

Brenden woke up Friday morning with a few red spots on his neck. He went on to Mrs. Lori's and I went to work, but being a little cautious sionce it was friday we went ahead and made a doctors appointment. Lee picked him up from Mrs. Lori's and by the end of the day, he was covered in hives!!

The doctor said that it was from a virus. He was acting like himself (until the benadryl kicked in and knocked him out) he just looked terrible. It was very sad.

He woke up this morning and most of them are gone but he still has some patches of red on him. Hopefully he will be fully recovered by tomorrow or even by tonight.

Aggie Football

Well....Aggie football disappoints again!!! Last night was the A&M vs Arkansas game in the new cowboys stadium, and of course the aggies did not play good at all. We lost 47 to 19!! We did have a great time in the new stadium. People have described it to us, but you can never really imagine that the stadium or that screen is really THAT BIG! Over the years we have traveled and paid lots of money to watch the aggies play bad football, so we have just learned to have fun no matter what. And we did! Brenden stayed home with my mom and she said that he was a good little boy :) We had a good time but I still missed him. Lee and I also learned a very valuable lesson. No matter how late you stay out, the baby still wakes up at the same time.

The rain forced us to tail gate in the back of my car. It was a pretty day all day...until we got to the stadium.

Poor Danny stepped in a puddle and had to hang dry his socks :(

Farmer Lee

Lee is very happy that his peppers have turned out so great this year. We have more peppers than we know what to do with. He has got lots and lots of salsa to make!

3 MONTHS OLD!

I can not believe it but our little man is 3 months old!! I do miss the little bitty Brenden, but this 14 pound 23 inch big boy is so much fun! He smiles and laughs with you, he is always talking to you, and he is so close to rolling over! Watch the video it is pretty funny. If he could just figure out how to roll over his arm, he will be there. We are still working on sleeping at night, but it is getting better. He is also growing so fast! Some of my favorite 0-3 month outfits he has already out grown...and some he did not even get a chance to wear. Brenden and I are having so much fun during the day, and I am going to be very sad when I have to go back to work, but I am thankful that I was able to spend so long with him. He will be about 16 weeks old when I go back!
