Golf with Daddy

This was Brenden's date he had Saturday night. We watched a friends little girl Saturday night. She is 2 months older than Brenden. This was right after her mommy left, so she was a little sad about that, but it makes me laugh when you look at both of their faces. Brenden, what are you thinking :)

After Ali was OK with the idea of playing with a boy, we all know they are stinky and little girls are sweet, they got along great!!





This was the other night...we went to dinner with some friends and Brenden needed a bath, he was a little tired and this is what he looked like while I was trying to get him undressed for his bath. Poor little guy was tired.

Here are a few pictures of Brenden from a photo session. I was a little disappointed because he was not very full of smiles like he normally is...but what can you do. They are still pretty cute. Don't worry family...I will send copies to you soon.

Strong Boy with a Strong Appetite and Geting Clean

Brenden is getting bigger and stronger everyday. I can not believe that he is already 8 months old!!! Some of his favorite things are bath time, meal time, and exploring around the house.

Brenden loves bath time. His little legs kick around so much Lee and I are convinced that he is going to be a swimmer.

He is also eating lots of new things. He loves to get a bite of whatever Lee and I are eating. Today he had some beans, tortillas, guacamole, and cheese. He loved it. He also loves cookies and Popsicles. He gets very mad when you don't share :)

He is really enjoying his Christmas present from my parents these days. He pulls up on his tractor and loves to listen to the sounds it makes.

This is what happens if you let him out of your sight for one minute. HE FINDS PAPER!!!!

This is how big he is getting!! Not only is he a REALLY fast crawler, he is also pulling up on everything. Which I have to admit is freaking me out a little. Today while getting ready for church, he was pulling up on the side of the tub. I could just see him crashing down on the tile floor and hitting his head along the way....fortunately he didn't. This mobile child thing is going to take a little getting use to.

Brenden is Crawling and We got LOTS of snow!!!

Lee and I are very happy that Brenden is feeling better. Poor baby has had RSV all week and has been a little out of it! However this morning he was feeling much better and was doing a little play time on the floor. I looked up and he took off!! He has been scooting around for a while, and crawling backwards. But he now has his forward and reverse figured out (as my Dad says)

We are also pretty excited about the 8-12 inches of snow that we got here in McKinney! It is beautiful! Brenden has been a little to sick to go out side for long but I am hoping to get a good one of him before the snow melts. Lee and I made a snowman and had a snowball fight this morning during his nap :) It is lots of fun!

Getting Mobile

Well I put Brenden on the blanket this afternoon, went to the kitchen, and then turned around to find this! He has not fully got the concept of crawling yet, he is more scooting around. But I don't think that it will be long. Other things...He has the two bottom teeth. He has had them for a while, I just have not posted them. He started eating the baby Gerber puffs and he loves them!! He looks like such a big boy feeding himself. The only things that I have found that he is not crazy about is yogurt (but I have only tried one flavor) and bananas. I need to give him a mashed up real bananas to see if that makes a difference. He is eating more and more table food every day!!!

Pamela had her wisdom teeth taken out on Friday so I have been taking care of her and Brenden all weekend. Luckily, Brenden stayed at a friends house on Friday which helped out a lot(Thank you Stortz Family!). I guess his play date made him pretty worn out though because by dinner time on Saturday this is what he looked like.

Santa and Trip to Conroe

Brenden went to go and see Santa today! I had to get there 30 minutes before they opened and there was still a line!! However, I think that this is the best Santa! Brenden did a great job giving us a huge smile!

We also had Christmas with my family in Conroe this last weekend. We had fun seeing everyone and Brenden had a good time opening his presents. We had to watch him carfully, because he just wanted to put the paper in his mouth.
